The care and maintenance of your portable trade show exhibit is very important, and using good quality cases cannot be over-emphasized. The frustration and disappointment from having a damaged trade show popup can be maddening. Airlines, buses and trucks are not always gentle when it comes to handling your precious cargo, so a durable trade show case is well worth the investment. This is also a good way to manage the various components and keep them organized. Properly labeled cases are easy to keep track of and set up. There are literally dozens of choices available to transport your trade show exhibit. Most cases are made of durable blow-molded plastic that is waterproof and shock-resistant. There are also sizes for nearly every size display. You spend a lot of time developing creative marketing ideas using pop up displays, now you must protect your investment. The OCS and OCL cases come with wheels and a handle for easy transporting from the motel to the convention center. A typical size is 14” diameter x 39.5” for the OCS and 14” diameter x 50.5 “ for the OCL. Prices range just under $200 for quality cases. These work well for pop up and graphic displays. The OCM plasma screen shipping case fits 37” to 47” screens and is great for protecting and transporting your expensive plasma screens to the trade show. A quality case will be made of LLDPE Polyethelene. Make sure the wheels are of sufficient size to enable easy rolling with this larger case. Many better trade show cases come equipped with a dry erase labeling area and a lock. It is surprisingly easy to neglect the labeling of your cases, only to find yourself scrambling when the crunch is on and you need to get set up, now! The time spent organizing and labeling is time well spent. The lock is a great idea to prevent the theft of your accessories or even graphics. One advantage of the combination lock over a key lock is that you can't lose the combination, though you could forget it! Write it down, email it to yourself, save it on your iphone or cell phone, but store it someplace. Some of the better cases have in-line skates for wheels. This might seem silly, but if you have to do any lengthy walking with heavy trade show cases, you will appreciate the low friction bearings and ease of movement. An adjustable telescoping handle is also very nice because it balances the load and makes transporting much easier. Some cases are convertible to become a tabletop display or counter top display. With the right accessories you can take advantage of this feature and have a very attractive display. With some planning it is possible to minimize the number of pieces you are taking with you. The efficiency of double use cannot be overstated. You don't want to be paying for the transportation of more than you need to. Whether you use fabric trade show displays, or outdoor banner stands, the case must not be overlooked. There is a very good reason rental displays come with such durable cases.
